Welcome to ERMLive™. We are an organisation focused entirely on delivering solutions for employers to deepen, strengthen and enhance their relationships with their employees.
We have extensive experience developing and delivering solutions for Payroll and Human Resources over the last 17 years. Software we have designed and developed has been implemented in over 500 organisations throughout New Zealand and Australia as well as the United Kingdom and Asia.
ERMLive™ is the latest creation in our long history of developing software for human resources. Conceived in 2005, ERMLive™ is a solution designed to address once and for all the gap between the desires and expectations of organisations implementing HRIS solutions and the reality.
Too often we had seen company's failing to achieve their human resource goals, through long and costly implementations and software that simply was not flexible enough to meet the very unique needs of systems centred on individuals.
We wanted to do it better, and ERMLive™ is our illustration of this vision; we knew it could be done better, and we knew that the answer to delivering demonstrable value was one that integrated all of the components required to "deliver" the optimum solution.

In the past every developer of business applications would define their point of difference across the spectrum of software functions - menu design, navigation, security, data access and so on. Ultimately this has delivered generalist solutions, rather than solutions brilliant in their area or problem domain - in the case of ERMLive™ - human resource management.
We are 100% committed to the directions of Microsoft and therefore decided to reside our solution within Microsoft CRM 4.0.
This approach provides numerous benefits to our customers, not to mention allowing us to concentrate totally on brilliant solutions for human resources.
We decided that with ERMLive™ our focus would be on the payroll requirement and the human resource process. We would expose our solution within Industry Standard menu systems, reporting tools, security protocols, user interfaces, and hence the choice of Microsoft CRM 4.0.
Our decision has resulted in a totally normalized data model; one that can cater for “any” payroll requirement, while providing the framework to deliver on "any" human resource process. Additionally development time frames and support requirements have been reduced exponentially, delivering more functionality while dramatically reducing the cost of ownership.

We believe that the quality of Microsoft Office applications and the dominance of the business desktop owe a lot to the user interfaces they have developed over time.
We believe this dominance should be leveraged so that huge ongoing investment Microsoft make in user interface design are available to business users of domain specific solutions such as ERMLive™.
By residing within Microsoft CRM 4.0 users can utilise ERMLive™ entirely from within Microsoft Outlook, significantly improving the user experience, reducing the cost of user training, and more importantly under pinning user acceptance; an absolutely critical component to the success of a business solution within an organisation.
Integration
Integration means many things, and integration is simply one more critical component to the success of a business solution implementation.
ERMLive™ provides unparalleled integration to other applications through native web services, while naturally integrating to Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
If your organisation uses Microsoft Outlook or any of the Office components, any software for the business simply must integrate seamlessly with these solutions and this is where ERMLive™ again provides functionality not available in any alternate human resources application.
Finally, great relationships are the result of great communication. We believe the software solution company managers and their HR Department use to manage their employee relationships should reside in the same solution they use to communicate.

Implementation and Support
Implementing a solution is a completely different skill or competency to that of software development. Nevertheless, in the past closed proprietary development models required that the software developer also became the implementer. In payroll and human resources especially, with constantly changing requirements, close touch with the developer was a necessity.
This development focus came at the cost of implementation models that had been developed by professionals, and more importantly resulted in an implementation focus on the “product” and not the solution.
To address this barrier to adding value, ERMLive™ has been designed to deliver a solution that can be totally customised to meet the client’s needs, but more importantly enables our Payroll and Human Resource implementation experts to deliver those customisations.
Naturally this requires access to experts, and this is why we have developed a partner model to complement our development excellence with scoping, project management and implementation expertise.
By residing within Microsoft CRM 4.0 and a total reliance on the Microsoft "Stack" (Office, Outlook, SQL Server, Reporting Services, Exchange, Sharepoint and .Net) our partners can leverage existing skills and knowledge to deliver a new standard in implementations - faster and more accurate than possible with any one stop proprietary model, again significantly reducing ownership costs.
